What is Invisalign?

Invisalign uses a series of nearly invisible, custom-made plastic aligners to gradually move your teeth into the correct position. You wear each set for one to two weeks, then progress to the next. Most people around you won't notice you're wearing them.

How long does Invisalign take?

Mild cases finish in as little as 6 months. Most adult cases take 9-15 months. Complex orthodontic cases can take up to 24 months. Dr. Priya gives you a clear timeline at your consultation.

Is Invisalign really invisible?

The aligners themselves are made of clear SmartTrack material and are extremely discreet. In some cases we bond small tooth-coloured "attachments" to a few teeth to help with specific movements — these are also very subtle.

Will it affect my speech?

Most patients have a slight lisp for the first 2-3 days as the tongue adjusts. By the end of the first week your speech is completely normal.

What happens after treatment?

You wear Vivera retainers full-time for the first three months, then only at night, indefinitely. Without retainers, teeth will gradually relapse. We include a full set of Vivera retainers in every treatment package.
