The class that built half the PRs in our community. Squat, bench, deadlift and press — done with intent, coached on every rep.
Strength at Pulse is exactly what it sounds like: an hour of progressive overload on the lifts that move the needle the most. We're not chasing soreness. We're not chasing sweat. We're chasing strength — measurable, weekly, on the bar.
Every block runs four weeks. Each week we add reps, weight or quality. By the end of the block you've added load to your top set. Simple, brutal, repeatable. Marcus runs the show, Tony backs him up on Saturdays. Both have spent enough time under heavy bars to know what works for an absolute beginner and what works for a 200kg deadlifter — and how to scale between the two.
The room never holds more than twelve people. That means we can actually watch every set, cue every rep, and load the bar correctly. No one is left wandering between machines wondering if they're doing it right.
Mobility flow, activation, light barbell drills. By the end you're hot and the bar feels light.
One big lift — squat, bench, deadlift or press — worked up to a heavy top set with coached form.
2-3 supplementary movements that fix weak points: rows, lunges, presses, posterior chain work.
Decompress the spine, mobilise the hips, breathe. Walk out feeling better than you walked in.
Marcus has spent the last fifteen years under a barbell. National-level powerlifter, founder of Pulse, and the coach who's taken more first-timers to their first 100kg squat than anyone in Dubai. He teaches the way he learned — clearly, calmly, and with no patience for ego lifting.
